Daily Deviation

Given 2008-10-13

Inspired by both the Vikings and 12th century churches, Socrates Chair, 2nd new image is a wonderful and delicate chair in oak with fantastic clean lines. If you take a look at the other views of the chair in ~Gidzinski's gallery you'll also see that a song quote is beautifully screen printed on the seat that enhances the design and the concept. the lines in this one are really elegantly restrained. i can imagine it complementing a similarly restrained bar counter. :)

Thank you. I like finding inspiration in traditional designs and art, although in hindsight I think I could have improved the 3D feel of this chair as it is a bit 'flat'.
